In a galaxy far, far away... We are calling all Star Wars enthusiasts! The City of Independence Parks, Recreation & Tourism department and the Independence Uptown Market are pleased to announce our first May the 4th Be With You Star Wars Extravaganza! Join us on May 4th, from 6-8 PM at the Independence Uptown Market for #NationalStarWarsDay. This FREE event will feature Star Wars LEGO displays from KC Bricklab; Star Wars-themed crafts, snacks, trivia; and a temporary tattoo station. Enjoy special appearances by Troopers from the 501st Legion who will also be available for photo ops! Dressing in character is encouraged
