Amendment 3 legalizes personal use of marijuana (also known as cannabis) by adults 21 and older\, allows individuals to petition for release from prison\, expunge certain arrests and conviction records of non-violent marijuana offenses\, and enacts a 6 percent tax on retail price of recreational marijuana. \n\n\n\nAmendment 3 has notable legal changes for Missouri employers.
